Paragliding 101: Flying Without Wings

Hi Ram!

What I'm about to tell you is how I made one of my dreams come true!

Yep, you of all people know how much I really wanted to fly right?

In fact, if you can remember, I told you about that when I wrote you a letter about me witnessing the Hot Air Balloon Festival (link) in Pampanga. Well, I never thought I'd be able to realize that dream of mine shortly after.

Ok. I stumbled upon a German pilot, Uwe Klein (link) who does Tandem Paragliding here in the Philippines, specifically in Cavite. I booked a schedule on a Friday for around Php3000 (it costs more if you prefer weekends) and counted sleepless nights because of excitement. Hahaha

But there you go, we met up along Kalayaan Avenue. He has a car & you can opt to get a ride with him to Carmona, Cavite where the paragliding site is. And voila! We're ready to fly!

We had to land earlier because the wind isn't that strong.

But I did get a re-flight! And this time I stayed longer up in the air!

You know, I'm going to tell you a secret: I've always wanted to do Wingsuit Flying. I bet Mama's gonna freak out! Hahaha!
